It was quite a challenge coming off the Super Bowl victory as many bantered about how the Rams won the wrong way. GM's like Brandon Beane of the Buffalo Bills for example and the collapse of last season had many communicating "I told you so."It's fun to watch.. and looks like an organization that's not only winning.. but enjoying the process and the journey. I can't imagine how positive the vibes are in their offices these days. Just don't rest on your laurels, boys.
One of my favorite parts of this clip is about the 32nd minute. They talk about a guy who asked them a question in the interview process and it caught them off guard. And they thought about it and acted on it. That's the kind of thing that's the most impressive to me about KD and the whole Rams organization. The Rams overall stability since Kroenke purchased them is pretty amazing. He's an owner who gets it.. focusing on what he knows best.. and hiring/retaining people who do a good job. It's not that easy.
I don't know if it's because his success is rooted in real estate and development.. but he has the right kind of patience. His hiring of Jeff Fisher made perfect sense.. great track record at that point, highly thought of, and the best coach available (arguably) at that point. He didn't knee-jerk on it.. watched it play its course.. paid attention to the league.. and took a huge swing with his next move. Sure, there's luck involved.. but having the BALLS to put the future of your franchise in the #2 media market.. while getting set to open the best stadium in the world.. incredible.
Demoff has come across as someone who fits his role perfectly... but would he with another owner? Stan being able to eat shit on big contracts without making a fuss certainly makes everyone else's job easier.

Yeah... this season is a steaming cup of "eff you" to the people looking to jump on McVay/Snead/Demoff/Kroenke's corpse. Pastoors too, good add.It was quite a challenge coming off the Super Bowl victory as many bantered about how the Rams won the wrong way. Well, Snead & Company went to work and provided Sean McVay and his new coaching staff with players who not only loved the game, but wanted to be in Horns. Kroenke, Demoff, Tony Pastoors, Les Snead & Sean McVay showing all of us the way.
It's the difference between knowing it all.. and WANTING to know it all, but understanding you don't and that it's a process. One of my favorite parts of this clip is about the 32nd minute. Goff hater!Hmmm.
After listening to this. And Sean. And Les.
Maybe. Just. Maybe.
I'll back off a bit on the current Detroit QB.
Without a doubt. The moment McVay hoisted that Lombardi those GMs like Beane were proved wrong. Media can do their BS all they want but they're wrong too. I mean just using the Bills as an example look how loaded those teams of theirs were during the Kelly era. They had one of the best QBs in the league, one of the best RBs, a dominant WR, and the best DE who has ever played IMO in Bruce Smith. When Smith was young he was unbelievably dominant. It was quite a challenge coming off the Super Bowl victory as many bantered about how the Rams won the wrong way.
