If he looks like he did today so far, all the time? I agree.

was not impressed with the run game as well. Richardson out played him hard.

He's not explosive enough to be a kick returner. Idk what the Rams approach to this is. I think maybe they're just giving him touches anyway they can. He SHOULD NOT be there in the regular season though. Maybe they don't consider returning kickoffs as important now because they're mostly all touchbacks idk. For ball security reasons as well though he should not be back there.

I was going to say this in the Rodcast. I think he may be in fear of being cut, IF he can't return kicks, and it doesn't look good. Not right away though, he will get more opportunities. He has to step up.

Pead looks so bad I made a comment about him being cut. I just really don't see it. He has talent, but his mind is somewhere else man.

It just looks like hes not confident playing at all. I hope he can shake this, whatever it is.

Nothing worse could have happened, than him fumbling on his first carry. Oy.

I still think he can be the #2 back. Not ready to give ip there just yet. he pass blocked pretty well tonight too. Whenever he was drafted I would always say Idk how he breaks the tackles he does and gets the yards he does. He has a very odd running style. Like small jump cuts while he turns and makes himself skinny to break away. He doesn't have explosive speed though. He's not slow, but he's not quick. If that makes sense haha. I agree that he's playing a bit nervous still too.

Richardson looks very impressive though. He will be a fucking monster in this offense. Already willing to call that

I know right, my jaw dropped when he started panicking on the kick return also

I don't think he was panicking, I think he really wanted to take it out and make a play. Chase told him to play it smart though.

Your probably right man, it just freaked me out because I though we was going to go for it after stalling the way he did. I hope the best for Pead tbh. I want all of our backs good.

Pead appears very soft. I wouldn't trust him if I was coaching.

Where's this guys head? Someone needs to release the pressure cooker he's built up upon himself. Dude just needs to relax and play football.

DRich looks like he's at full speed already. We're gonna need more punch though...Pead isn't playing anywhere near Richardsons level right now.

This dude is a train wreck right now. I'd love to see him get his poop together, but damn.... He's a grown man collecting a paycheck. He has the physical attributes, but he's not there mentally. That's the crappy part about it.

I was willing to give him slack last year, but he looked like the same player from last year last night, for whatever reason he just isn't getting the job done, he is more hindurance than help right now, if he don't step it up these next 3 games I think he will be traded at the end of preseason.

at the End of SB's time in this game, he overlooked a wide open Pead doing a cross underneath to throw a long incomplete to a double covered Givens. Would have liked to see what Pead could do in space. His man was like in the next county, so far off him

I'm not saying Pead is going to be great or even good, but his performance last night is being drastically over-criticized.

That fumble was a tremendous defensive play. You hate it when your RB fumbles, but it happens to the best of them. That fumble also gets amplified because it was on his first carry. If it continues to happen then it will become an issue.

Apart from the fumble the kid had a good day in the backfield. Only got 3 opportunities and picked up 18 yards. He also had at least one really good blitz pickup where he drove a LB into the ground.

I will agree that he has shown very little in terms of KR though. Just seems to run right into the pack. Luckily we have a few other guys on the roster who should be able to fill that role if he doesn't step it up.

this is basically spot on...

and where does everyone get that his head isnt in the game or his mind is elsewhere? i must have missed something. is he having personal issues or something? i mean hell three days ago there wasnt anything wrong with any of our players!

point is first, it is the first game of the preseason so everyone should pretty much relax a bit. second, im sure that the rams personnel know a lot more about this team than anyone in this forum. third, i think we should be talking abt our 2 and 3 oline personnel. they were pretty dreadful in my opinion.

The KO's he handled should not have been returned at all, the signal to take a knee came too late, all I really fault him for is the fumble, not gonna feeding frenzy on him now.
