The ex-Ram whose name many of us had trouble pronouncing correctly has moved from the team that continually cheats to win bends the rules until they almost break, to a team presently falling apart. Depending on how one looks at it, it's either a win-win or a lose-lose proposition for him.

For the second time this week, the Patriots have made a trade.

This time it’s New England sending tight end Michael Hoomanawanui to the Saints, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reports.

The 27-year-old Hoomanawanui was a fifth-round draft pick of the Rams out of Illinois in 2010 and has been with the Patriots since 2012. He’s in the final year of his current contract and has a base salary of $800,000, which means the Saints will pay him $658,000 for the remainder of the season.

Hoomanawanui is a solid blocker and occasional receiver who has largely been phased out of the Patriots’ offense and barely played this year. In New Orleans he’ll join a tight end group that includes Ben Watson and Josh Hill.

Michael Hoomanawanui got traded to the 0-3 Saints from the 3-0 Pats.

Yeah... I bet he's just super glad Gronk's back...

Yeah but look on the bright side, he gets to play with Drew Brees!
Uh oh, wait a second....

Cheat's are probably picking up Bennet.

How would they have the money for that?

I always liked him, but he always seemed to get injured.

Wonder if the Cheatriots would be interested in Cook..........

The Saints got ripped off. Hicks is worth way more than Hoomanawanui.
It looks to me like the Patriots are Beefing up their "D". they are Tied with the Rams for the League Lead at 13 Sacks, as of Sunday night.
Maybe they're Trying to build up their "D" after all these years of depending on Brady and their "O"
