No way do the Cardinals trade within the division, the cost would be far too high, and it's not like Peterson is that young.

Peterson's still got it man. Dude is a freak. But yeah, why would the Tards help us? If I were them I'd move him to the AFC.

All the talent should come to the Rams, that's just way it should go.

Patrick Peterson is no Larry Fitzgerald. No class. Bailing out of sinking ship. Fitz is taking it on the chin with humility and pride. Peterson could have been a legacy "Cardinal".....Jim Hart, Larry Wilson, Larry Fitz. but no, starts crying and whining. I'm not Cards fan at all but since Michael Bidwell took over from his numbnut dad he turned around a hapless laughingstock into a credible, respected NFL franchise. QB is such a critical position and Rosen just isn't ready yet. If he gets through this trial by fire and can leverage DJ, they could be back sooner than later and then we will have another tough divisional foe to deal with again.

Come on, lighten up on the guy. Would you want to face our offense for the next few years? Do you also really think they can overtake the Rams in 3 years...... lol Dont know how to use the blue font :)

He's a great player, but no. He is slated to get $11.25 million next year, and $12.3 million the next. Why should anybody believe that he will honor the contract, if he's demanding a trade with 2 and a half years remaining? Besides, the Rams have Talib and Peters next year anyway. They need to focus on getting a long term - hopefully inexpensive - option, not a player who is demanding a trade. In particular, they need to use their high draft picks wisely, to build around the many expensive players they already have.

Saints would have to dump a TON of salary to be able to afford him I just can't see him going there. His base pay is $11 million and they have less than $1.5 million right now in space. That base pay would make it the highest on the Saints roster, they would have to move multiple people and/or restructure a lot to make it happen.
