Alexander was great on one leg. Guy may have been an all time great had he never had knee issues. That size and speed and playmaking ability made for a rare player.
 
I wish that DX had been healthy. If he was, he'd still be our receiver.

Yeah. Damn shame. We need another big tall receiver with athletic ability. I like our shorter guys, but nobody can win a jump ball around here anymore. Quick was supposed to be that guy, and was coming on, but ... another damn shame. I don't know that he's ever gonna fully recover (mentally) from that injury. I mean, I don't know if that's an issue, but he doesn't seem to run routes with the same determination from what I've seen.

Doesn't help that he got no targets last week after getting 7 the week before either, so .... yeah.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about with Quick. He has all the physical ability, all the talent in the world, and he was doing well in his third year...but I don't think he's mentally gotten over that injury he had. It was horrible, possibly career-ending.

As for big and tall receivers with athletic abilities...well, there's always Isiah Ferguson (a rookie UDFA on IR, 6'5", 220 lbs.) They liked him enough to keep him on IR without a settlement.
