opening day today as Major league baseball kicks off with the hated Yankees against our local San Francisco Giants here. As a Dodger fan, of course I should be just rooting for the meteor to hit, but all kidding aside my buddy and ex teammate has lived in the dream today as his son throws out the first pitch!

I hope you guys can appreciate my divided loyalties today, but I hope Logan Webb does well and gets off to a good start. I couldn’t be more proud of him. Besides rooting against the Yankees thats never a bad thing, right?

I think the Dodgers can make up that one game and then some.

Ouch. Quite the second inning meltdown. Somewhere in there he got the Judge strikeout hat trick, but also started the season with a 10+ era.

You’ll probably get your wish. My first impression of this new manager is he is Kapler 2.0- way more focused on his image and making cute comments with the media, than turning out a badass winning product.

I give it to Mid-May before the few guys on that team that actually want to win start strapping on parachutes.

Also? HOLY SHIT, WHAT A SIXTH INNING, FOR BOTH THE CARDS AND RAYS. They are the first teams since 1890 to score six or more runs in the same inning on an Opening Day game. And Burleson capped it off for the Cards with an absolute moonshot. Complete no-doubter.
