Old XP machine-can't post

On my old XP computer at work, all image links are broken & I can't post. Chrome & Firefox both have this problem.

I've cleared cookies & cache but no luck.

Thoughts?

No-it's been hit or miss. Mostly miss though. Only worked a couple times. Probably for the best otherwise I'd be posting more...but my OCD won't allow something to be broken.

Sounds like the cdn is being blocked from serving the images and the js required to post.

Good question-the XP laptop is where I do all my browsing. My desktop is running Windows 7 & I've never tried it. Just checked & I can't post from there either. No problems from home or my phone.

I can post on other forums, so I'm not sure why this one is affected.

The link is blocked by the security filter. I'm guessing that's the problem.

Kind of weird why they would block a cdn.. But that is your culprit. The images and the js that is needed to post and view images is being blocked. You have any blocking be done locally on your browser?

It shouldnt be.. I have it turned off on this site just to be sure.

Is it something you can ask your sys admin why it is being blocked?

do you have the ability to edit your hosts file? Maybe you can point to another one of the other cdns

At least we identified the problem, now it is just a matter of working around it.

Can magically post on this computer today. Couldn't yesterday. Fingers crossed it doesn't change back.
