Boredom is a fickle beast during the offseason, so i decided to dwell into what our offense might accomplish this next year.

Receiving:

Daryl Richardson - 6 receptions, 38 yards, 0 td's

Isaiah Pead - 8 receptions, 61 yards, 0 td's

Zac Stacy - 25 receptions, 128 yards, 1 td

Austin Pettis - 27 receptions, 277 receiving yards, 2 td's

Brian Quick - 29 receptions, 408 receiving yards, 4 td's

Stedman Bailey - 35 receptions 519 receiving yards, 5 td's

Tavon Austin - 76 receptions, 743 receiving yards, 7 td's

Chris Givens - 68 receptions, 1,047 receiving yards, 8 td's

Other WR's - 3 receptions, 12 yards, 0 td's

Jared Cook - 66 receptions, 882 receiving yards, 8 td's

Lance Kendricks - 22 receptions, 373 receiving yards, 2 td's

Zach Potter - 2 receptions, 9 yards, 0 td's

Passing:

Sam Bradford - 367/588 4,397 passing yard, 62.4 completion %, 37 td's, 11 int's

Rushing:

Tavon Austin - 22 rushing attempts, 139 yards, 2 td's

Sam Bradford - 28 rushing attempts, 88 yards, 1 td

Daryl Richardson - 73 rushing attempts, 317 yards, 2 td's

Isaiah Pead - 106 rushing attempts, 462 yards, 2 td's

Zac Stacy - 164 rushing attempts, 713 yards, 6 td's

total: 393 rushing attempts, 1,719 rushing yards, 13 td's

I didn't include Special Teams play(KR/PR/fake punt, etc) because wasn't quite sure how that will go this year. I figure Austin to have at least one TD return though.

So anyways, thoughts on my projections? Have your own projections?

I can't say I think much of it. For example, I had Sam throwing for 4,399 yards. I think you need to go back and rethink this.

Despite all the new receiving options, I still think this will be a run-heavy offense. Somewhere around 400 - 425 rushing attempts I would think.

hmmm. I'd have to give Quick about 30 more receptions, to be honest. Maybe steal a few from Stacy? Maybe take about 20 receptions from Austin and divvy them up between Bailey and Pettis too? Or, screw it. Just pad Bradford's stats some more and give him more yards.

Geez. When broken down like that - individually - it seems pretty fair. And then when you look at what it does for Bradford's stats, it's pretty freaking awesome. I really hope it plays out like that so that all of the self-employed Bradford Character Assassins can finally STFU.

Also like how you gave the team over 300 rushing attempts combined. I think we're going to be over 300 with just the running backs though, so I'd bump that number up for them. Also appears you have Stacy beating out Pead for the bulk of the carries, but I don't see it that way. Wouldn't break my heart or anything, but I haven't given up on my vision of Pead becoming the next great back in this league.

Nice job.

I thought about giving Quick more receptions and yards, but i really believe although he will improve this year, he won't break out till next year.

I wanted to bump the rb's numbers, but with the team getting more td's and 1st downs through the air, i think the running game will be a little less. i could be wrong, but i didnt want to pad the stats to much.

As for which running back would get the bulk, that was a real tough one. You may very well be right that Pead takes the lead role, but for now i have Stacy taking them till we know more after training camp and such. As long as they succeed i don't mind who takes the carries. I hope it is Pead, but just dont trust him on the field yet.

I think Pead gets more carries/yards, Stacy gets more TD's.... Stacy will be our goalline guy, Pead will be getting the bulk of carries between the 10 yard lines.

I don't see Bailey - as a rookie - getting more yards than Quick.

Just too high expectations for this rookie.

I dunno...I kinda see Bailey as a mini Holt.

He's as polished as Holt coming out. I see no reason not to believe that.

I'm not in any condition to deal with a bunch of numbers right now but you can take it to the bank that Sam's gonna have more than 4,000 yards passing and we're gonna win 11 games.

Bet every penny you have on that in Vegas.

Trust me.

I love Sam, but if he throws 37 TDs I will shyte my ass.

It reads 27 TDs not 37 TDs. See me for all your vision problemos.

With the amount of speed that we have on the field and all the possible mismatches we can create with our personnel now, I'd love to see them give Sam the full reigns of this thing. I'm talking constant audibles on every drive, and not just checks.

How many do you see him throwing?

There's a shit load of variables that go into this obviously as we all know. Idk I'm not good at hypotheticals or predictions. I'd say best case scenario maybe slightly over 30, and that's the absolute ceiling imo. Sam has to face a lot of good defenses, most of them with loaded secondaries. We'll see. I don't think the offense will be more pass oriented regardless of the new toys either.

.

Bradford will be a 2 td per game qb.

The rams have set up this offense beautifully.
