Yup... the defense has become consistent.

That's the key if your'e going to rely so heavily on the run.

And number #1 looking at the last 3 games. Especially if you consider they were against the Cards, Packers and Browns..... (and Steelers before that.)

It's also a heart killer. Teams move from deep in their territory into our red zone and usually fail to get hit pay dirt. That's very demoralizing for an offensive unit.

We haven't been playing cupcake offenses all season, either. Packers, Steelers (With Big Ben for most the game), and the Cardinals are all top ten calibre.)

No team has more sacks than the Rams since Jeff Fisher has been our coach...

And now we're number 2 (by offensive points allowed):

6th in yards per game
5th in yards per play
4th in points per game
2nd in offensive points allowed per game
1st in opponent TD's allowed per game

Gregg Williams has fielded top defenses pretty much everywhere he's been. His resume is impressive...

Indeed. I hope nobody comes after him with a HC position anytime soon.

I remember trying to explain the correlation of points & yards to somebody...as our ypg allowed improves (esp rushing) watch the points come down, down, down.
