Imagine. The Jets are having a hard time making a trade.

No, not him. The other one.

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Rams aren’t interested in trading for quarterback Tim Tebow, after being reportedly interested a year ago.

Neither are the Seahawks. Neither are the Jaguars. Neither is anyone else, I imagine.

Considering an actual starting quarterback, Carson Palmer, only fetched a swap of late picks and a conditional one next year, it’s hard to fathom anyone giving up a thing of value in exchange for a backup quarterback the Jets clearly don’t want.

At some point, releasing him seems the only thing to do, if only to move on from a bad decision.

I don't think the Rams were ever interested in him on any level at any point in time.
