Former Alabama safety Jabriel Washington will have a chance to extend his football career in the NFL. The Los Angeles Rams have signed Washington after he attended their rookie minicamp over the weekend.

Washington is getting a shot at the pros even though he started one game during his four seasons at Alabama. Washington played in 39 games with the Crimson Tide, bouncing back to finish his senior season after missing the first five contests because of a knee injury suffered in practice.

I was pulling for Rose too. It's early maybe he gets another shot later. Washington was a backup that did get some playing time.

train
Rose and Washington are almost the same exact size, Rose is 5 ft 11/177, But Rose had a 4.38 40 w/ a 36 inch vert to go w/ a 10 ft 3inch Broad and a 6.67 cone.
I REALLY want to see some stats on Washington, considering we dumped Rose!!(y);)

Looks like he will be a FS/special teams candidate. Probably has had better coaching in a pro style which likely leads to better technique, route recognition and football IQ.

No chance Washington sticks either...our DB's are really solid.....

I concur IMO Missouri Western's Mike Jordan has the best opportunity to stick, 6-1 200 4.53 40, however, ball hawking skills and for some reason the Rams like to scout Missouri Western players, but, that might change with them now being in Los Angeles.
