Of course we all want him to have a great year in '26, BUT - how will the Rams be able to sign him, Avila, Turner, Dotson, etc?

Crazy to think that the NFL considers BY0 as more valuable of a player than KW. Kyren is so, so criminally underrated.
See, I don’t think he is(underrated).
I see a hardworking lunch pail RB who’s a great teammate and culture guy.

I think he’s respected around the league, I just don’t feel like he’s particularly feared by defenses.

The NFL generally considers RB’s as disposable…especially on the 2nd contract.

I agree defenses don't "fear" KW. Kyren IS a lunch pail guy.....who will not break a 70 yard run but will gain those 3rd and 1's/2's despite his diminutive size. He's a beast near the goal line. I'd wager he's as successful as Derrick Henry near the goal line and they are two completely different backs, size wise.

K-Will is the Rodney Dangerfield amongst NFL players (and even amongst us fans, and admittedly me for a time). Love that he's seemingly fixed the fumbling issues that have plagued him. Doesn't get many long runs, but he continuously churns out 5/6+ yards in most every run. He's slippery, able to get out of a lot of tackles, despite not being the biggest back. If we need a goal-line run or a short yardage conversion, he's our guy, and teams are so aware of that danger that play-action is a big threat we can use (for a prime example, the Ferguson touchdown against the Jaguars in London) to fake the run to K-Will, only to hit a receiver deep or even check it down to him after he leaks out after the play-action is complete.

His vision is second to only Marshall when it comes to Rams running backs. I'm sorry, I really love S-Jax, loved Gurley when he played with us, and really respect ED, but Kyren's vision is elite and in a class above all three of them (however, Marshall was basically an alien when it came to vision; no running back who has ever played was better at that than him.). Add in that he's a good pass-catcher and the single-best pass blocking running back in the NFL (and that's a primary reason why Stafford can wait for the routes to open up; because of the excellent protection that not only his O-line gives him, but what his tight ends and running backs give him as well), and K-Will is one of the most underrated players in the NFL, not just running backs.

He's not the caliber of Henry, Robinson, Barkley or Gibbs. But he's probably in the next tier. He's really quick and shifty able to get positive yards consistently. A steady contributor who has a nose for the endzone. But he won't outrun a defense for a long TD run. I see him get caught from behind quite a bit. Corum is a very similar runner but might be a little faster downfield. They probably make the best pair of backs in the league.
