NFL Network on xfinity?

I have xfinity and this afternoon when I tried to tune in my screen said the NFL Network contract with xfinity has expired and is currently unavailable.
Does anyone have any info on this, is it likely to be resolved anytime soon?
As per usual my attempts to get a competent response from customer service was frustrated.

Contract expired...have to wait and see if they come to a new pricing agreement.

I just checked my work email and xfinity says they have made several generous offers to NFL network, but all were turned down. They will continue to try and work out a new deal but no timetable was mentioned

It came back on in the evening!
