Not sure if any of yall are watching but football is football. Trey Lance getting probably his last chance this pre season and looks pretty good. Kyle Allen is trash but man I wish we took Teslaa. He is going to be a star.

Yes he's a backup playing with backups against backups but that was the best I've ever seen Trey Lance sling the ball.

Yeah I'm not about to anoint him as "good" yet. But if Harbaugh does finally dig the talent out of him I'm glad it happened after the Whiners and Cowboys gave up on him at least.

I’ll always love Trey Lance for having the Whiners give up 3 1sts and losing them games! :laugh2:

Never believed in him, it was a joke he went in the first round as I said that year.

However if he stayed on a roster and was given 3-5 years to learn behind an entrenched starter I could see him being dangerous. By alas, that’ll never happen, maybe for Harbaugh?

His career in a way is just getting started. He got some good game time experience. That’s what makes the preseasons great.

He only signed a 1 year $2 million contract. What a difference a few years makes.

Have always been a big fan of veteran QB’s who have a chance to be a starter after being broken in & have SO much value.

Throwing looks cleaner but still staring down guys quite a bit from what I saw.......barely watching by the way....
He certainly still needs to improve but credit where credit is due. There were plays where he surveyed both sides of the field and when those options weren't there he made the right read and checked down all within an acceptable time frame. His misses were mostly understandable and he completed passes for a solid percentage rate.

Yeah I was surprised, oh and for good measure F the niners

dam near impossible to judge a QB vs preseason backups.

It’s like level 2. Right after how he performed in a madden video game.
