New site and images/giphy

So I'm probably just retarded with technology but one of the things I have always loved about this site was its ability to support cut 'n paste of images. But now? That stuff rarely works and I have found giphy to be hit and miss with half the photos I try to put up not being there. Am I doing something wrong?

Yeah something is off with giphy....the other gif is insert image url (next to the smiley one)

This has always worked for me for pics and gifs
[IMG} insert gif address[/IMG]. Make sure you use all brackets, unlike this example.
