I do NOT like the Saints but they are a very good team (Drew Brees IS unreal!) and while I do think the Rams can beat them it will not be easy! And, I think the Saints remaining schedule is much tougher than the Rams and if they end up with the same or better record than the Rams they definitely deserve the Home Field Advantage (Really hope that does NOT happen!)! I just hope the Rams can stay healthy!

Rams can win in NO. They might be undefeated but for a terrible spot.

The Rams will have Talib and hopefully a still improved Ebukam, a more integrated Fowler, a hungry OBO, and a better defensive game plan.

I have no doubts that the Rams can defeat the Saints.

In the Saints I see a team that's much stronger than the last few winning SB teams. It will be a very tall order to win in the Superdome.

New Orleans Saints: Difficulty Covering Top Wide Receiver Options

Opposing quarterbacks don't have to cycle through their reads to find an opening within the Saints pass defense. According to Football Outsiders, New Orleans allows the seventh-most receiving yards to No. 1 wideouts (81.3) and the most to the No. 2 wide receivers (93.1).

It's a telling sign the Saints acquired cornerback Eli Apple from the Giants before the trade deadline and immediately inserted him into the starting lineup over Ken Crawley.

Cornerback Marshon Lattimore hasn't performed at a level that propelled him to 2017 Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. He's logged nine pass breakups with only one interception.

Last year, in pass defense, the Saints swarmed the ball, recording 20 interceptions. Before a strong defensive performance against the Eagles in Week 11, the group had six picks. While the defense has logged seven takeaways in the last two outings, the boundary defenders have to clamp down on wide receivers when the turnovers aren't piling up at a high rate.

My observation from last nights game was Corner Marshon Lattimore is playing @ all pro level @ this time. He had a great game.

Los Angeles Rams: Mediocre Pass Coverage on the Boundaries

The Los Angeles Rams miss cornerback Aqib Talib, who's on injured reserve after undergoing ankle surgery. All-Pro cover man Marcus Peters hasn't played well either. Sosa Kremenjas of Turf Show Times tracked his lapses in coverage. The 25-year-old has also acknowledged his subpar play in a postgame interview (NSFW).

On the other side, Troy Hill has started the last seven games but provided little impact as a playmaker with one interception and three pass breakups.Sam Shields logged starts in Week 4 and Week 11, but he's played less than 43 percent of the snaps. The 30-year-old didn't fare well against Chiefs wideout Tyreek Hill in the last outing.

Talib can't return from injured reserve until Week 13, but he said on NFL Network earlier in November that he's optimistic about his ability to play again this season (h/t ESPN.com's Alden Gonzalez). "I had a great visit with the doctor today," he said. "It looks like the week after Thanksgiving, I'll be full speed, ready to go."Until Talib laces up his cleats, the Rams need a strong pass rush to help mask coverage issues in the secondary.
Rams will have SIX DB's involved in Free Agency in 3 months so this area will need a major overhaul again in the off season.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Saints run the table. The tougher teams for them are home games. The Steelers are probably their toughest opponent but its a home game for them. The Panthers just don't look like a legit challenger. The Cowboys don't have enough to keep up with them. Forget the Bucs. We might see a 60 spot put up against them.

I think the game we played there is going to be an advantage for us. They know what its like to play in that dome. And we will score points. Defenses tend to play better in the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised to see a totally different defense in a game like that. Big time players come up big in those games. And we have some big time players on our defense.

Rams have an easier remaining schedule (only one team over .500 vs the Saints who only have one team below .500) so we may lock up home field advantage as long as we can take care of business.

I think our team still has room to grow, specifically on defense when we get Talib back. Just like MJD said (and Peters for that matter), Talib is like another coach out there. He's been acting like a coach on the sidelines with our D, having him out on the field again will fix a lot of the communication issues we're having on the back end.

Saints are at their Zenith.

Plus McVay doesn't seem like the type of guy who will lose twice to someone in the same year, I like our chances.

Saints are extremely good BUT I watched the game last night . Seriously , the falcons are just terrible . They have no O LINE , Ryan had less than 2 seconds to throw the rock . Even then , they were able to get in position to score BUT , THREE TIMES , YES THREE TIMES , they fumbled the ball inside the saints 20 yards ( and two of those times inside the 5 ) . IT was just unbelievable . It became pretty clear to me yesterday why the falcons are now 4-7 .

The Saints have been on the favorable side of the turnover battle. The Vikings were moving in redzone the final two minutes before the half up 13-10. They were either going to take a 16-10 or 20-10 lead into the half. Thielen fumbles, it gets returned to Viking territory. A TD later and the Vikes trailed 17-13. Then a pick 6 and the rest is history. Take care of the ball, play better defense and we will beat them.

Watching the Saints last night I was especially impressed by their defense. Unlike Wade, who seems to run the same predictable fronts on almost every play, Dennis Allen mixes it up, disguising the defense well, bringing multiple men on blitzes, etc. I think if you give any NFL QB time in the pocket, they will carve you up. Today's receivers are too athletic to cover more than a few seconds. I hope Wade self-scouts over this break and realizes that in order to beat the Saints, we're going to have to put more pressure on Brees. True, we will have Talib back but the Saints have too many weapons for him to cover. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Totally agree. I hate to say this but I hate Wade's job so far. He has a shit load of talent and can't seem to make it work. He is predictable and rarely call blitz. His play calling against saints was terrible and that is basically why we lost. He needs to understand that rushing 3 guys is not gonna cut it. Specially against solid o lines ( saints has the best o line in the NFL).
