Cowboys going 8-8 is a fair prediction. We are exactly .500 since 1996, and exactly .500 under the Red Retard.

But Jerry doesn't care. He's still making a ton of money.

I think the Cowboys have better then .500 talent. But until they get a real head coach and an owner who cares more about winning then money, 8-8 is where they'll most likely stay.

11-5, can not see that. Even if they go 3-3 in the division, plus 9 win season is a stretch Like GSOT season. Do not see that coming.

Here is the Rams schedule with predicted wins loses. Oh bye the way I am giving the Rams a split in the division:

Date Opponent
Sept 12 @Forty Whiners loss
Sept 18 SeaPigeons win
Sept 25 @Buccaneers win
Oct 02 @Cardinals loss
Oct 09 Bills win
Oct 16 @Lions loss
Oct 23 Giants loss
Oct 30 BYE
Nov 06 Panthers loss
Nov 13 @Jets loss
Nov 20 Dolphins win
Nov 27 @Saints win
Dec 04 @Cheatriots loss
Dec 11 Falcons loss
Dec 15 @SeaPigeons loss
Dec 24 Forty Whiners win
Jan 01 Cardinals loss

You can quibble with some of my picks, but come on, The Rams are not beating Cardinals or Seahawks twice, it is best is a split and hope and prey we swept the 49ers. Other wise it is going to get ugly early.

Fixed it for ya. Some of those losses you project. Really? Opening night? Niners suck.

Personally I think the Rams win the division out-right, but I'll accept a wild card birth, If that's the best we can get with an 11-5 record!

Love all my fellow Rams fans and the support! Anyone you puts a Rams loss down vs a team like the Lions is just being plain negative, but the 49ers? You are just plain stupid!

Absolutely. Garrett is a scared little bitch. He gives the vets too many days off during training camp, and wonders why we start off slow every season. I met him once. He's a nice guy, but as a coach he sucks more dicks than RuPaul.

Its tough to put a number on the season yet. I still need to see Robinson at LT, how Ogletree responds to moving inside and how the DB situation is going to play out.

That being said, I have been calling double digit wins for the last 2 years. I have always thought we had the talent to win more.

IMO, Fisher needs to put his money where his mouth is and get rid of this 7-9 bullshit.

I'm all fired up for the season so agree with this, but just up to the point of the name calling. It's not necessary, plus it's hardly a stupid prediction. I would say it's pessimism, but one could argue based on recent history of the Rams underachieving against bad teams and some current roster concerns -- plus Whiners history of overachieving thanks to luck, turnovers, fake ref calls, etc. -- that it's even realism. The Rams have not earned the "gimme" label to any game yet, if someone wants to predict a loss here I will disagree but it's not stupid.

I always thought Jerruh was an owner that does care and wants badly to win. The problem is, he fancies himself some sort of GM and personnel expert. If he stayed out of it and let the real football people run the show, they'd probably be pretty good.

I'd love to see the Rams go 11-5. And its possible. The strong defense combined with power run offense formula has been proven to win And thats what the Rams have.

But if I take off the homer hat and try to look at it objectively as possible, we have either a rookie quarterback or journeyman back up caliber quarterback. And I believe that position alone has kept us from a winning season. We also have a young line that still needs to grow. More questions than answers there.

But at least there is hope. If we went into the season with Keenum/Foles we wouldn't have questions because we know what the answer is. With Goff we have a chance to be good there. Still don't know if it will all work out but its gotta be better than what we've fielded the past 3 seasons.

Ya'll do realize that with all these 11-5/10-6 predictions vs all the 6/10 predictions....that it means we are going 8-8/9-7 and the label of mediocre on Jeff Fischer will be entrenched forever, right? I mean, I can avoid all the thinking and predicting and just throw a dart somewhere in the middle of pessimism and optimism.

Or......my vote .....we do indeed go 10-6 and make it into the playoffs on some kinda rare good vibe with a youthful movement of impact players in all the right places that influences the Rams to come together as a great team. :)
