I know that many of you are blown away by my perceived coolness. :sup:

I wasn’t strictly a metal, head banger in my past. Along with Van Halen I would sing to some Barry Manilow. ZZ Top songs might take a back seat to some fine Michael Bolton tune. I even took some time away from Pink Floyd for “Fat” by Weird Al.

I’ll show mine if you show me yours.....wait, that didn’t come out right...
1. Copa Cabana by Barry Manilow
2. When a Man Loves a Woman by Michael Bolton
3. FAT by Weird Al
4. BAD by Michael Jackson
5. Kenny G jazz
6. Purple Rain by Prince
7. Any song on @CGI_Ram ’s playlist....:dab:

My musical tastes have always been all over the place. Its my belief if music is good its good. So if its from the 40s or 90s so be it. Hidden vice? Well I actually like some of Taylor Swifts stuff. There I said it. But I am also a long time John Denver fan. When it was cool and remained so when it wasn't. But could just as easily listen to Stranglehold or Dean Martin. Go figure.

I used to have that shame, but now I'm like, "fuck it... I have eclectic tastes and I'm too old and slow to chase the lastest....anything really.

AGREE on Barry Manilow. I don't know all the words by heart, but I can probably sing along to most of his hits.

Karen Carpenter. Don't give a single shit, but when I need a good cry... "Rainy days and Mondays" gets me every...single...time. Her Christmas album is pure MAGIC!!! She's a saint and I'll die on the hill defending her music.

I actually like a Justin Bieber song... "Love Yourself". Pains me, but it's pretty good. Not great, but unlike all his other songs, I don't instantly turn it off.

Also, I agree Ozark... early Taylor Swift was pretty good.

Duran Duran....and lots of it.
As a card carrying metal head....who played drums in a metal band and a punk band in the late 80s....I would have caught endless crap for listening to Duran Duran.
I even kept a Duran Duran tape in an extra Metallica Ride The Lightening tape case in my car.
The Reflex Re-Re-Re-Re Reflex.....

Purple Rain? Where is the shame in that? Prince is a legend.

BEST Super Bowl Halftime show...ever.

When he sang Purple Rain... in that driving rain in Miami... I STILL get goosebumps to this day...

Oh, and I have a fair few old Nickelback songs. And P!nk songs. And a lot of Rihanna songs.
Nickelback has a handful (3 or 4 maybe?) Good songs and honestly I've no clue why everyone hates them. Animals and Burn It To The Ground are top notch filler songs (the songs you listen to in between the songs that make you go "fuck yeah, I love this song!").

I have six of them (plus two that feature Chad Kroeger, Nickelback's singer). He's got a unique voice, very underrated.

I have two of her songs on my iPod, and I'm planning on a third (a sad song that actually fits one of my stories).
