Seems like there are quite a few more trades or opportunities for trades these days. Is it because of the new CBA. Do new rookie contracts make it easier to manage salary cap and ultimately affecting what people are willing to do with old contracts? Are GMs just becoming savvier? Does the recent rise in salary cap and salary floor make it more likely?
Personally, I'd love it if trades became more a part of the NFL landscape. In the old days, contracts and the way they were structured along with the salary cap really made them prohibitive.
