Green Bay just improved by a tremendous amount, and Dallas got little in return.

Jerry just went full senile Al Davis. Never go full senile Al Davis.

I dunno. Not having to pay $40 plus million a year to a LB, frees up a lot of cap room to bring in 4 or 5 quality FAs. Then add in the two firsts, which provides flexibility as they could turn some of those into other multiple picks like Detroit did. And Clarke will help over the next few yrs as well.

You could argue losing Donald and lowering his cap hits, helped the Rams get better on defense and they didn't even get any picks to help that retool.

That would have been a lot of cheddar for us. He was worth the trade capital, but probably not worth that kind of cap hit.

According to Snead we've used like 5 draft picks to replace AD. I'd rather have one generational gamebreaking player like AD or Parsons then 4-5 medicore players.

For $40 mil., you're not getting 4 above average players, you're getting getting 4 or 5 players like Michael Hoecht or Samsun Ebukam.

Wow, my opinion is so different than most. Giving up 2 first rounders and then paying as the top non-QB in the league, I'm glad that the Rams didn't do this.
Micah is good, very good. IMO there are many defenders that I would want before him.

Yes the Packers are better this year, maybe all-in. I think that the Packers will regret this though.

After 10 whole minutes of intense thought I came to a conclusion. Matt LaFleur (GB coach) realized as long as the Rams have Verse they're gonna dominate the NFC for the next 5 years, or more. Therefore, his only chance to compete with us was to get the next best edge player in the NFC. Then again, I'm halfway into a 12 pack of tall boys waiting for the Nebraska game tonight.

Parsons is good. All pro caliber type player for the Packers. But 47 mil per year and giving up two firsts? I dunno. Depends on how the Cowboys parlay those picks. Could be a good thing for them long term.

I don't think they were going anywhere this year anyway. Their pick could be in the top 15 while the Packers pick could be somewhere between 20-25. For the next two years. If you're gonna rebuild getting extra first rounders is a good start.
