Over and over again, the Rams have zero business being this good (according to the media before the season began).
Did McVay & Snead meet the Devil at the crossroads and trade their souls for a consistent winning team? (Just asking for 49, Cards and Seachicken friends). Congrats Micah Kiser! 5th rounder playing like a 1st rounder. This season is going to be like it's X-mas every week. What a time to be a Rams fan!

Sounds crazy, but I always thought he had the, "look" of an inside linebacker run stopper.

The tape on him from Virginia sure made him look like one.

lol I think he had everyone fooled. I still had hope after game 1 though -- it just seemed like he was making rookie mistakes. Trying too hard. Playing like a college player. But he was always around the ball.... If he was a fast learner, he would clean those up & looks like he did.

Funny how Kiser gets DPOW and only 10 posts now 11. Imagine if he had missed 6-7 tackles again.

Good job by Kiser. Offenses will continue to test him on the edges with passes.
I hope he can keep up and make those plays. He still has to keep working hard and I look forward to him improving weekly.

12 posts now if you're counting. There are other Micah threads including mentioning the DPOW but I'll repeat my comment from that one... Micah was all over the place. A player obviously must be doing something right to receive that award. I usually see Donald getting it. Sounds like the coaches and players are haoppy for him too. Would like to see Micah again with double figure tackles vs Bills.

While true there has been a lot of discussion in the other thread about this.

I don't get it!!! Very puzzling after all the offseason hand wringing, wailing and gnashing of teeth about Rams' inside linebackers.

Kiser has stepped up big, shaken off two years of rust in two games, and will only get better. He and Jordan Fuller look like they'll be starting every game for the Rams for the next 3-4 years and doing a great job. And Hill is playing much better than credited by posters.

I guess any form of negativity, or maybe any off the mark talking head criticism, has more traction than actual, serious, positive recognition of a player. Too bad.

I got the count up to 15 now.

It is amazing how he went from a bad game to a very good game. I guess Kiser getting the award was posted in another thread. Considering that he hasn't started a game in over two years to be given DPOW is amazing. He will be tested this week against the power run blocking of the Bills. Will be interesting to see how he does.

I agree, he was impressive and glad for a while it quieted the overreaction crowd. I was ok with his performance week 1 as well.

Not many guys rebound like this after attacking someone for criticizing them. This is what I like to see. Hopefully he keeps this passion all year.

I do love to see the players flip the script. When SJD did it I was very skeptical prior to the season but he's a solid NT for us now. Not a great player by any means but he's solid in his role. Looks like Kiser is doing it this year and it's great to see. Even if he's just a solid ILB for us that is a big deal for this season.

Some of us might not make glowing posts about every player on the roster, but when they deserve the accolades it's important to give them that cred I think. He certainly deserves it and it was nice seeing him get some media play too. (y)
