I'm not sure you can go back to Karty unless and until the Thiccer Kicker misses.... Maybe a trip to the IR for Karty.

Mevis the Beavis looked goot to me tonight. Gets up on the ball in time. The ball quickly gets altitude and goes straight.
What else do you want ?
Karty is not getting his job back.
I think he has talent but our coach seems to have screwed him up.
Hope he does not overthink Mevis the Bevis. Let the big chunk kick like he wants to.

It seems we had a situation a few years back when we replaced a kicker and thought we were out of the woods until a few games later the next kicker sucked even worse.

Or maybe that was a nightmare.

7 XPs and 6 were absolutely down the middle. There was 1 the went a little right but was still good. I'm sleeping better at night with Money Mevis active on the team.

You need to drop your friends during football season

They're great folks... lol... Well if you're in La Verne during a Rams game bring a knife an fork, I always have plenty of grub.... I have plenty of jersey bibs to protect from food shrapnel.

It appears everyone is happy with the new kicker... lol... I was kinda hoping McVay would give him a crack at a 50 plus field goal.

If the defense was playing well, I think McVay would have kicked a FG instead of punting in the second quarter I believe was at the 41 yard line.

Not sure if that’s true.Had a friend that said Mcvay was a WUSSY!! He thinks a lot different than myself.

The game had changed momentum though & you can’t give up points with them getting the ball first to start the 2nd half.

I also talked chit about the niners coming down & scoring. His logic was that they would’ve got the ball at the 40 anyway which was INSANE!! He wanted to tell me that they ran it out to the 40 anyway.

If The Rams miss the FG there in trouble. There was one PAT that didn’t look all that good.Ethan Evans punted it at the 15 yard line.
The defense stopped them to End the Half!!

They have trouble with a FG Kicker themselves. They spent there 2023 draft on a Kicker they CUT earlier in the season.

McQuaide and Mevis can be activated two more times before the Rams have to move them to the active roster. I expect McQuaide's to be quicker as the difference with the snaps were obvious and if Mevis nails a couple of FG's I expect that change to be made permanent as well.

Mevis strikes the ball much quicker then Karty and IMO, Mevis gets excellent height on his ball making it less likely to get blocked. Keep in mind the extra points are like 33 yard FG's, but I am looking forward to continued success from this unit.

Well - DOES ANYONE think Mcvay might have Kicked The FG in the 4th QRT ?? I’d say the jury still might be out ??

Was Mcvay questioned about it after the game ?

Stafford & the O’Line said GOT’EM when they jumped off sides. It was 4th & 1.

Last week before the 2 minute warning they did the same thing on 4th down. It’s obvious The Rams O”Line is well connected. That was the Beautiful thing about Jared Goff on The Rams SuperBowl run.He is still excellent at it in Detroit. I like it.

Just to add off topic a little is Mattew Stafford!!! Does he get away with a lot of DELAY of GAMES ? IMO it’s way to tight.Jones gets it off with that second on the clock.

We can talk about the tush push-but if your on the other side of it.It
sure looks like delay of game. Not sure if the 10th’s of a second though. He is always right there on the Snap though.Stafford is a HOF QB & great at changing plays on the Line. It’s a ART! Still there is that fine line & never rewind & put a stop watch on it.It happens SO fast.

Yeah - have to agree, but he still didn’t strike it straight on all his kicks.

I'm waiting for the story that he has a passion for picking up female fruit pickers. Then I shall proudly post that the thiccer kicker is a picker licker. Or even if word gets out that he's really good at pleasing the ladies, the thiccer kicker is a sicker picker licker.

I'll get my coat.

I’ve heard (I think by one of the former refs they have on broadcasts these days) that the refs are told that if the snap is eminent, they will let it go. Not sure how that really works. Seems like an excuse to be inconsistent. But Staff does seem to take it right up to the zero an awful lot. Maybe he gets the benefit of the doubt because he’s been doing it for 17 years and is often making line calls right up to the snap. Dunno.
