I was in the right field bleachers for this one! One of those specs IS ME!

I got out of high school to attend the game with my older brother in law (dating my sister at time).

No lie; … right before he hit this home run I told my brother in law… he’s never hit a home run left handed.

Bam!

Go crazy folks!

THAT was his first!

I have an autographed photo of this one, same brother in law gave me it for Christmas one year.

Here’s that photo. It’s like 16”x24”. Massive photo. One of the best sports memories I have.

"Five seconds left in the game. Do you believe in miracles!??
YES! Unbelievable" ~ Al Michaels.

This was the greatest moment in sports for me and it wasn't even the gold medal round in 1980. No way this try hard amateur hockey team could beat the mighty Soviets, they said. It was such a collective National moment among all political stripes as we emerged from dark economic times. I'm not even a huge hockey fan, but it's hard to describe how great it was, if you weren't there...
1. Miracle on Ice
2. 1999 Super Bowl Rams
3. Vin Sculley's call in Game one of the 1988 World Series.

I like how Michaels let the crowd carry the emotions and didn't try to talk over it after his initial call.
