It's not that they're lazy. They're bascially untalented. IMO, all it takes is one media opinion and the parrots start flocking. There are too many unoriginal media minds so they have to depend on one another for something to talk about. And then it gets posted on a message board and we have something else to talk about! :laugh4:

Agree. I think Durant, Kinchens, and Lake are good pieces to the puzzle. Speights looks like he has potential. Rozeboom, well - not going to say much, but he really looks to be coming into his own. D-Line will be top 5 in the league by end of next year.

Hoecht is the anchor honestly. I think he does wonders for these young kids, and is an excellent leader.

Honestly, think the D is fine, they just need time in the system and leaders to emerge!

I just listened to a HERD podcast - some guest podcaster apparently - mostly talking about the sorry ass niners... but most every time he talked about the Rams front D-line - he mentioned the word VIOLENT!! Especially, by name, was Verse being violent - but not to say the rest of the line wasn't stellar!!

Nice to hear all that - even though it was a sucky podcast segment.... :wow2:

He aint coming back. I wish he was, but he just isn't.
First off, in an interview it was mentioned that he wouldn't want to come in and cherry pick a SB he didn't work for. Also McVay said he would never ask him. He has to much respect for his decision. AD would have to call and ask.

I'm pickin up what Eisen's putting down here. Third down rusher role for AD for the playoffs. Defensive front of Verse, AD, Turner, Fiske, and Young would be a fucking nightmare for any OL on passing downs.

Our chances still come down to the secondary unfucking themselves though. So whether AD were to consider that probably comes down to that back end showing they can play the call with some discipline. Because without that AD would be wasting his time and he knows it. This means that we have a run of games here where the secondary is the single most important room for this team. They have to improve.

Isn't there a rule that a player has to be on the roster by a certain date that's passed to be on the playoff roster anyways?
