It was not that bad, here it was. All McVay said was: We wasted our time watching him thinking he would be at 104 maybe. After NE picks C Cole Strange at 29, TV flips to Rams draft central, where MCSead jokingly mock the pick. Methinks they had Strange rated a 4th rounder and may have wanted him.
I'd like to hear your take.
and for what its worth, Patriots have been pretty successful,The Patriots have not drafted well of late that is for sure, but the Rams need to tone it down a tad IMO, although most were shocked by the pick because Strange was not rated in the 1st round, but I'm not a fan of mocking any pick because it's huge for the player. Again IMO, if that is the case, it should be tight lipped and leave the mocking to the pundits.

McVay, Rams hilariously react to Pats picking Cole Strange in first round
Sean McVay and the Les Snead were stunned to see guard Cole Strange already off the board to the Patriots in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.www.nbcsports.com
Yeah I agree, was not making fun of the pick, just surprised he went that early. Again, though apparently you can't knock the third best team in the AFC East in the third best division in the AFC.Also I don't think they were making fun of the Pats for making the pick. They just seemed surprised to me. But of course nowadays it may end up being called something else.
Or not enough! That's what happens when you attend a press conference after having a few too many beers.
.
Yep, exactly this. The narrative has already been written. Now you get all the bullshit "never poke the bear" stuff.Whether they were making fun of the pick or not, it came off that way because of the background laughter. So what? Their run is over and the Rams are Champions. Screw New England.
I wasn't insinuating that you were making fun of them btw. Moreso that the media will probably end up spinning this into something ugly.Yeah I agree, was not making fun of the pick, just surprised he went that early. not including WR'sand for what its worth, Patriots have been pretty successful,

Snead complimented Cole Strange as having "about as quick a first-step as an OL can take".Not making fun of them at all and yes they had been drinking
I understood that and agreed and again East Coast Bias still exists as even though I don't believe it was a knock on the pick, the pundits will spin it that it was.I wasn't insinuating that you were making fun of them btw. Moreso that the media will probably end up spinning this into something ugly.
