I forgot but not intentionally we spent a 2nd round pick on another TE Klare from Ohio State. Are we gonna use him ever? The Ferg is out a bit I saw. The current NFL YOU should damn well expect your 2nd round pick to contribute. Side note. I really wanted Tutu Atwell to at least be out there. I must be the dumbass then. Something's puzzling there.

Rams all-time best TE on STs tells me they are willing to try anything to improve there.

In weeks 1 and 2, Higbee was 4th in snaps for TEs. Parkinson has 1 ST snap, and Ferg is only on kick returns. Somebody's gotta play STs.

Higbee had a sick catch near the sideline I had to screenshot it.
I was making a joke, as if fuck them picks meant we won't play them, versus trading them away
I believe I saw Klare totally miss a block on a KO, resulting in the returner getting slammed.
Higbee looked great in this game. Not many TE's in the league can make that catch he made on the sideline.

That must've been the "rookie" mistake McVay referenced on a return.
To me, having Higbee in on ST's makes perfect sense.
1. Higbee is probably #3 on the TE depth chart. WHEN HEALTHY, both Parkinson and TFerg are ahead of him, I think. SO it's not too surprising to have our 3rd string TE on ST's. Granted, Higbee is our all-time leader as a TE. But he's not so young anymore.
2. McVay has described Higbee as a "glue guy' and a great leader. If Higbee is willing to play ST, that sends a good message to everyone else.
3. On the opening kickoff, TFerg whiffed on a HORRENDOUS block "attempt" which allowed for Connors to get blown up. So we definitely want guys on ST who are gonna know their assignments and do it competently. Maybe TFerg was hindered by that ankle, but man that was an awful looking play on his part. If it takes a long-term vet to do it right, so be it.
