Extending Jalen Ramsey.
AD is the best D player in the league and deserves every penny he gets. Jared is the QB and has to get paid but signing Jalen Ramsey changed this defense and this team.
He not only shuts down the other teams best receivers he completely shuts them down.
I love the looks of frustration on Stefon Diggs, DK Metcalf’s, deandre Hopkins faces half way through the game when they realize they’re getting schooled.

McVay and Staley were both money well spent. But I agree about Ramsey, even tho I didn't like the trade at first. Ramsey and Donald have both elevated their play AFTER getting paid, which is rare.

I knew Ramsey was special, I had watched him in some games and I was excited to have him but not especially excited about the trade. It felt like a lot, it felt risky..

He is better than I knew. He is giving his all after getting paid and he is so good, when you talk about the Rams defense, the name Ramsey belongs in the same sentence as the name Donald.

McVay is in a whole different stratosphere as far as changing the outlook of an organization.
‘Went from “7-9 bullshit” to contenders in one hire.

Honestly... maybe.... he is a top notch player.

The teams are scared to throw at him - but i want to see less misakes.

You’re nit picking Henry.

not at all.. pretty sure jalen was the one who blew the coverage on the long TD. He also was called for a questionable PI, but still called. The last TD of the game was caught in front of him also.

Plus the media is all over Jalens nuts right now which everyone hears the talking heads raving about him so then it gets repeated over and over.

I think he is a good player and glad he is on the team - but like I said, just less guessing on plays, turn it up a notch. He has the ability to be great consistently and that is what I want from him.

I was never oppose to paying for him, but I thought we gave too much to get him. Considering the Jaguars got his cheap services for years and now get 2 first round picks and a 4th round pick when he about to get pay. I have always wanted to get Ramsey on the Rams regardless, I just wish we could have gotten him without giving up so much. I am not complaining now though.

It was either pay the compensation or have peters or hill as your shut-down corner. I know which route i prefer.

The thing about DB's, they shut down a top player one on one and there is no stat to justify how they dam near single handedly won a game. Then some jackasses like PFF gives him an average score.

Super Bowls are won by DB's. Hawks (Sherman), Pats, Niners and Cowboys (with Deion).

Ramsey aint perfect but how many deep TD's have we given up? Remember Peters?

Oh man I don't even want to remember those days. Peters was one of the worst trade or signing (I can't remember) in recent time. Just dreadful. He doing better on the Ravens mainly cause of Humpries and their defensive scheme.

I was always for trading for Ramsey. What we gave up for him didn't bother me because I knew what we were getting in return was a shut down corner. He's also the best corner in the league IMO and that's not me being biased I've thought that before he was ever a Ram. He can shadow anybody and hes not afraid to knock the shit out of them when they get the ball. I was ecstatic when the Rams got him locked down although I'll admitt I was getting worried for a minute.

I have heard he also is an amazing teammate in terms of making everyone else on the D bring their A game even at practice. How can you put a price on a Kirk Gibson type leader in the clubhouse? That was the cherry on top of the cake with this guy. We thought he would be or could be a team distraction and instead, he has the D completely focused and challenged to be as good as he is. That Brinks Truck incident he pulled with the Jags, that ultimately got him to the Rams, it's a franchise changing move that Snead pulled off, that wasn't supposed to work. Per many analysts, couldn't work, that made no sense. The Rams overpaid. I keep saying, like a broken record, we were left for dead before the start of the season. We were supposed to finish last in the west. Over the cap, no first round draft picks, this guy and that guy is gone..........
First place Rams, in the toughest division, against all odds! What a time to be a Rams fan! Pinch me!

Ramsey forces QBs to change their game.

He's played very well and looks like a shrewd signing right now.

What makes him special is he's a physical guy like Sherman, in fact more physical than Sherman (I think he could play ILB), but also has the long speed to not require that over the top help. That's pretty rare.

Having a guy like him with the freak ass receivers coming into this league is a big deal. I mean Deion was the gold standard for years but I don't think he could handle the physicality some of these guys bring. Ramsey can. So yeah getting a guy like that doesn't happen round 2 you gotta be picking high and then hit big. So I'm good with the price we paid.
