Michael Brockers is the only Rams player from LSU. We have 4 from Auburn - Bates, Fairley, Robinson, and Mason. 2 from Georgia - Ogletree and Gurley. 2 from West Virginia - T. Austin and Stedman Bailey.

LSU leads all colleges with 40 players on NFL rosters
Posted by Michael David Smith on September 16, 2015

No college football program produces more NFL talent than LSU.

The NFL today released a breakdown of Week One rosters that showed 40 NFL players went to LSU, more than any other college. The Tigers have had at least four players selected in 10 consecutive NFL drafts.

Last year’s draft class was among the best that any college has ever sent to the NFL, with Giants receiver Odell Beckham winning the rookie of the year award and LSU teammates Ego Ferguson (Bears), Jeremy Hill (Bengals), Jarvis Landry (Dolphins), Trai Turner (Panthers), Lamin Barrow (Broncos), Zach Mettenberger (Titans), Alfred Blue (Texans) and James Wright (Bengals) all getting drafted as well.

After LSU, Miami comes in second, with 37 players on NFL rosters, followed by USC with 35. Alabama and Georgia each have 34, Florida and Florida State each have 31, Oklahoma has 30, Notre Dame has 29 and Clemson has 28.

Four of the six colleges that have the most players on NFL rosters are from the SEC. None of the Top 10 are from the Big Ten.

And 2 from Florida (Jenkins and Roberson) and 2 from Mizzou (Barnes and Gaines) and 2 from Oregon State (Mannion and Hekker) and 2 from Montana (Reynolds and Johnson) and 2 from South Carolina (Cook and McLeod) and 2 from Wisconsin (Kendricks and Havenstein) and 2 from North Carolina (Reynolds and Quinn) and 2 from West Texas A&M (Sims and Westbrooks) and 2 from UCLA (Harkey and Ayers) and 2 from Ohio State (Laurinaitis and McQuaide) and 2 from Texas Tech (Marquez and Davis).

Hell we've got more players who have at least one other player who went to the same college than didn't.

It is something that the Rams have two players from West Texas A&M. I know Devanney liked scouting that school but Snead pays attention too. That little school has two NFL players. Impressive.
