Losing at home to the Bucs in the Championship Game hurts like hell. Terrible coaching by LaFleur to kick a FG with just over 2 minutes remaining thinking the defense was going to get a stop on TB. I know we had all 3 timeouts but you can’t give Brady anymore chances. Giving up that long Touchdown pass just before half was awful by Kevin King as well. Rodgers wasn’t as sharp as he has been all season. What did you Ram fans think of this game?

I think I would have definitely preferred AR to pick our game to be subpar. He was otherworldly against us.

Worse than that was their D played the Bucs like I thought they’d play us. But they all played their best damned game.

Makes me add the Fudge Packers to my list of hated teams alongside the Whiners, Seacocks and Cheatriots.

What was worse, the decision to take the fg or the decision by arod to pass to Adams who was covered by two defenders standing in front of him? Meanwhile he had space to run, maybe for a td. And he did that twice. I couldn't believe he didn't take the yards on offer.

I thought it was a bad matchup for Green Bay.

Tampa edge rush is excellent. You guys have a backup and a another guy at tackles.

Someone should be fired Greg Williams style for the end of half 1 on 1 coverage.

Tampa forced a fumble and an interception on some questionable holding.

Rodgers should have ran it instead of throwing between two guys. Even if he gets to the 2 yard line it’s better then 4th and 10 or whatever it was.

Rodgers probably ends career with 1 Super Bowl but makes the Hall. So could be worse.

I think you guys made a poor decision on who was hired to replace McCarthy.
For your sake I hope Rodgers sucks it up for another run next year but I think the collateral damage is just too much. Rodgers leaves, you guys go 6-10 at best
I still can’t believe he kicked the FG there. The only worse decision to make there was to punt instead of kicking the FG....

I think the Packers and Aaron Rodgers are far too risk averse. Rodgers never seems to just play with wreckless abandon to win games (ironic considering who his predecessor was) and sometimes you need a QB to say "fuck it" and play to win.

And the Packers as an organization are far too conservative, low cost, by the book, "we build through the draft only" which halts the ability to build a sustainable model of competition. Look at the past few NFL contenders, they were teams who went all in on building rosters through trades and FA acquisitions.

and I like La Fleur but hes not an aggressive coach. Neither was McCarthy. its to a point where softness is becoming systemic in Green Bay.

Trying to play it safe in a NFL that highly rewards aggressive offense just isnt gonna cut it.

Yeah it sucks. I'm still pissed our defense chose that particular week to shit the bed.

But it definitely is worse for you because goddamn it would have been epic to see Rodgers vs Mahomes. The stronger your shot the more it hurts when you lose that's for sure.

I think we wished Aaron Donald wasn't impaired in the Divisional Round.

You think they made a mistake with a coach that has gone 13-3 and gone to the NFCCG both years? The Packers, with a fully healthy Rodgers, won 6 games the year before LaFleur arrived. Statistically he was almost the same player from 2018 to 2019, yet with MLF they went from 6 to 13 wins and an NFCCG appearance.

That’s the worst part...Mr. Three Picks in a Championship game.

That shit just washes right off. Amazing.

It will be easy to pull for the Chiefs.

Ram fans can certainly feel your pain, man. We were just there a week ago, ourselves.

The endless ‘what if’s’...

But, if I’m being brutally honest, that game shoulda never come down to that FG decision by LaFleur. Just sayin’.

When I saw them bringing out the FG team I was like "Really?" Then Aikman starts to say "I don't know about that..." reinforcing what I already knew.

They blew it bad. They had control to put it in the EZ, even though it was 4th down, but they chose to give it back to the Bucs and put Brady in control.

McCarthy was a stooge and he won 70.5% of his games with a healthy Rodgers starting 2009-2016, so winning record is meaningless. McCarthy was a terrible coach, and the team quit on him, led by Arod.
LaFleur is a dope, his offense sucked in Tennessee and he gets a promotion. Talk about some Brady-esque dumb luck.
2019 was smoke and mirrors, but the offense was a bit hand cuffed and then the idiot trades up and drafts a QB
Yeah, he's a dumbass and his decision to kick the game away shows it

I won't go so far as to call Lafleur a dope but I agree with your overall take on him. I do think he lucked into the best job in the known universe for an offensively-minded coach.

The moment he loses Rodgers he's up shit creek.

My recollection was they were stopped on three straight passes. Their tackles were not handling pressure well and it's a small space to defend. If you want to blame Lafleur I'd scratch my head and wonder why he wouldn't run the ball to gain some yardage instead of throwing it three times while under duress.

Either you kick the field goal or risk turning the ball over on downs. Even if you get a TD, you'll still need your defense to hold up.

Rodgers could have ran it on 3rd, perhaps in for TD. If stopped short LeFleur would have went for it.

Two misses in a row, Rodgers. Then Lefleur.

The trifecta would have happened, if they missed the FG.

I bet it was hard to watch as a Packers fan. They had a very good team. They could have won it all. I would be crushed.
