Mookie, Mookie, Mookie. I love ya but damn. Ended Yamamoto's perfect game with an error in the 8th. The no hit and shutout ended in the 9th but I have a feeling losing the perfect game took the wind out of his sails. I don't know about a perfect game but I have a feeling a no hitter is in Yamamoto's future with the Dodgers. He was hitting 97-98 mph on his fastball in the 6th inning. He had it going yesterday.

Man! You’d hate to be Mookie in that locker room. I’m sure the other players realize how bad he already feels and said all the right things. But DAMN! Mookie has to feel like he really let Yams down. And Mookie is not one of those players that thinks he’s bigger than the game. I feel really bad for both of them.
 
Back home for the fellas; not a terrible trip. 3-3 is fine for Middle of June with not their full lineup.

Mookie's swing might be coming around. Tuck just needs a few good games, I think he'll be ok. Hopefully the fans rally around him.....

Need some fresh arms for the pen, and they are coming. Phillips first.....

Yeah (knocks on wood) he's looked like a good pull. We just need to keep rolling and get everyone healthy so that when the games really matter, we are full go. There's a lot of season left to get things right and I think this team will just keep moving forward.

Yeah, Lauer's doing much better for the Dodgers than the Blue Jays. His ERA in Toronto was 6.68. Its 3.22 in 4 starts for the Dodgers. His WHIP is good too at 1.03. Looks like a change of scenery has done well for him so far.

Nice sweep for the Dodgers over the Rays. All 3 game won by one run. Scott got the first two saves. Vesia made it interesting but got the big strikeout with the bases loaded to end the game.

We're still waiting on Snell and Glasnow to return. And most pundits think the Tarik Skubal trade will go to the Dodgers. They have the best resources to make a trade like that. Imagine a rotation with Ohtani, Yamamoto, Snell, Glasnow and Skubal. That would allow guys like Wrobleski and Sasaki to be available for long relief if they need it.
