well , this could get to be a long thread...................lol

just those little things that bug me , and possibly , no one else.....................lol

I thought about this a couple weeks ago , when I saw that Pepsi has come up with a new logo , or , new old logo , they kinda switched back to the logo they used back in the 70's / 80's , that was the era I grew up in , , but sometime in the early 90's , they chaged thier logo , and that new logo , even though it's been around for like 30 years , has been bugging the crap out of me , for 30 years.........................lol

but when I saw the new logo in Wal Mart a couple weeks ago , I thought al right , cool, and I don't even drink Pepsi all that much , I'm more of a Coke guy

I can sleep better at night now that thet got rid of that 90's-20's logo

OK , so back in the 80's , they just dropped their regular Coke , and brought out their NEW COKE

which lasted like 90 days , then Coke brought back their regular Coke , so people wouldn't get them confused , they called it Coca Cola Classic , which they kept up until 2009 , then they dropped the classic and started calling the Coca Cola Original Taste

they haven't made NEW COKE in like 30 years , you would think by now , they would just drop the Original Taste from their logo , I think it's been long enough .................lol

just another one of those little things that bug me................lol

how many people here are even old enough to remember NEW COKE , the coke that lastest a whole 90 days before Coca Cola switched back.................lol

lol...same thing w/ Burger King for me. The buns shade changing slightly in the 90s...then then ugly ass blue in the 2000s back to the original. The burger bun changed again and became skinnier.

Things don’t really bug me until you get me wrapped up about new shit with the military, thinking how shit we’ve become. But then again I’m sure the generations before mine thought we were pretty shit to so I that kinda cancels each other out and I just drink a beer.

Things that bug me? Hmmm, I can think of a few. Like not replacing the toilet paper on the dispenser when you use the last of the roll. Really? You that busy? What else ya got to do?

Before the days of the ice maker finding an ice cube tray with one damn cube in it. Right next to 3 more trays with no cubes. Dammit! If you ain't gonna refill it leave it out so I can do it!

And what the hell happened to all those socks I put in the dryer?

It was so they could change from sugar to HFCS (high fructose corn syrup)

So they came out with new Coke which was only ever meant to be temporary... And out long enough that most wouldn't remember the taste of Coke with sugar

It took New Coke to be so different that most folks wouldn't notice the difference when they went to Classic

I always noticed the difference and I was able to show folks at the time when I got some Coca Cola from Mexico and let them taste the difference. Mexican Coke is made with cane sugar and its not really close to American Coke with HFCS

We've got those seats that slowly close so they don't slam down. Well, the one in the bathroom I usually go to has something wonky with it and it'll randomly start slowly closing on me while I'm standing there doing my business. Have had a couple close calls where I have to sort of play a game of limbo while trying to catch it before it closes all the way while maintaining aim. I've become a master at it... I should probably just buy a new toilet seat but it's kind of become a game now.
