I love Kyrens attitude. I honestly hope they can work something out on a 3 year deal and he stays steady.
Yeah. I gotta agree. The EXACT attitude you want to see from a player - contract negotiations or not. I also suspect that carrying that attitude maybe brings the two sides together. Fingers crossed.

I see no reason to rush into signing him. Let’s see what we got.

I think WE (Rams) know what they have in Kyren Williams. There is no doubt there.

It’s going(is) to be about dollars & sense. He is deserving of a nice raise. The thing is The Rams have 2 young RB’s in the stable.YOU Can’t have to many STUDS.

What these other RB’s do only makes it easier to not have to OVER PAY like Todd Gurley.I can go back(way) to other post here. The thing that I REALLY like is The Rams have been adding SO much depth at positions that they come to the table with strength.

My point is Cam,Van, & EJ53 really went about things the wrong way.If Kyren was to pull any CRAP it wouldn’t hurt as much.

Kyren does have to know The Rams depth & that signing early only enhances his career as a RB.The reason is he doesn’t have to be that cowbell RB.He is not going to get as many carries in 2025 IMO.That is the whole point either way.

SO if he signs it doesn’t matter, but on the other hand at the end of 2025.What does that look like for him & The Rams as a FA.

BTW- The Rams don’t like to do it,but either way The Rams still have control & can Franchise him.

It’s the way the system should work & as a FA(only 1 season) next season he has to play for a contract.

Just going back to Todd Gurley who I LOVED! The Rams should have NEVER had signed him to that contract. HOLDOUT. He still was signed to 5th year.

Bell held out & didn’t even play the season. Then The Jets paid him less that what he would’ve got from Pittsburgh??? Both players really brought down The RB VALUE because of it IMO.

Williams is young (he'll be 25 next month) and productive. The only reasons why people are looking to get rid are his lack of elite breakaway speed and his propensity to fumble.

He can't change the former, but if he learns better ball control, he's well worth keeping... depending upon his (or, more likely, his agent's) wage demands.

I don’t think the stats bear out Kyren being a fumbler, among all NFL RBs. Maybe they just happen at inopportune times.

Ahkello got through his first OTA’s as a Ram.Last year he wasn’t even FREAKING Signed by any NFL Team.

It was very upsetting after seeing him fill in for Jalen Ramsey out of no were 2 training camps ago.

No RAM FAN( me for sure) didn’t even know Kyren Williams would be The Rams starting RB. I’ll always give my GF credit for saying,I want that #23 Jersey because has the most energy & running away from people. Then running back to the other sideline & doing it again.
—She also said #0 because he was all that.

Ahkello back then was wearing #23 & nobody knew who he was. They thought he was Kyren Williams.I’d say that number #23 is impressive & looks like he’s going to be a starter. He wore #44 after Daniel Hardy was CUT.
Then in 2024 he took #4 after Jordan Fuller was gone, which he has fit into real well.

I don’t even think K Dot was on The Rams then.He came from Pittsburgh (Steelers) as well.

My point all last year was how good Ahkello was & that he should have been a Ram after his 2023 season & WTF was Mcvay thinking not resigning him.

Now going into The 2025 season he is such a LEADER. I told Oldschool he was going to be a Ram & that he & Mcvay had a handshake agreement that he would be resigned & given a chance to start.

If you look at Ahkello Whiterspoon’s contract it’s all about starting & winning a Superbowl. IMO - that just shows his character. Also the belief in himself & The Rams.

Just happy for him & to be recognized as an Excellent Ram Player. Plus what he means to The Rams

Just to continue after actually reading the article.I have to give Gary credit. He has been one of Mcvays Favorite Reporters!!
—He always gives him crap.Back in the Day Gary use to always be messed up & late to The Zoom interviews. He could never get his computer or phone right.

LA Times is a privilege to read & seeing Gary’s article is spot on on my take of Ahkello.

Oldschool I have to give a hard time to & just doubters.Inwatched this video of DeMarco interviewing Rams & asking them to play call 2 of The Best Rams TD’s in 2024.

The play when Jared Verse scored was a Strip Sack by Whiterspoon. To take The Rams to Philly.

Then against Arizona Harrison’s first 2 TD’s were against T. White. He also blew it against Da Bears & other teams. He was HORRIBLE!!
Going back to Arizona at SOFI.It was Whiterspoon who made The INT in the End Zone to WIN that game & put The Rams in The Playoffs!!

Landman is leading The Rams defense. He took the Green Dot away from Speights who Jared Verse gave credit to on Day 1 of training camp.He is really showing his value as a FA.
Jimmy Lake was the guy who scouting him Shula said yesterday I believe? Haven’t read the article, but K. Dot & Ahkello I give Les Snead & his scouts credit as well.

I guess it is a privilege,and I don’t subscribe SO it not free to view,which I can’t.
