Verse just manhandled that left tackle on the last sack of that video. He's one strong dude. And Fiske is pretty fast for a 300 pounder. Don't know how long it will take these guys to adjust to the NFL level but we just might have a really good defensive front for several years with Turner and Young.

They say Verse doesn't have the repertoire of moves a guy like Latu has but he said Aaron Donald told him you just need to be really good at couple moves to wreak havoc. Verse has the power to push his way around and through the blockers.

What's funny is initially I figured Turner goes to 3T and Fiske is 5T in those looks. And Verse makes sense as a strong side edge. But I am starting to wonder if maybe they leave these two younguns together on that blindside.

Camp is gonna be fun as hell this year.

Aaron Donald? Doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Actually, the guy on Locked On Rams made a good point about this - while AD was great with just a few moves, he is also an absolute freak of nature whose capabilities are so far beyond those of mere mortals. Others should learn as many moves as they can, and the reason they should is because they are not AD.

Nobody is AD. But why would he give bad advice to a young player who is only trying his best to improve?

AD wouldn’t consider it bad advice, given the above comment, but I very much doubt that he is stupid enough to not consider that other players don’t have his ability.

He might have been acting unintentionally humble. Sometimes I'm not sure AD realizes how good he was.

Either way, I think these other guys should learn as many good moves as they can, then find out what works best for them.

In my martial arts training, I was taught to create a personal "Fighting Style". It was our top five moves that we feel we execute the best, from the many, many, many to choose from. Then, we focused on those for the most part. So, I'm down big time with AD's advice. Maybe more than two primary moves would be a good idea though.

Love their obvious chemistry. Florida State did a lot of the same things we did last year, the stunts, the twists, the misdirection, the versatility.

Verse and The Kingpin are going to fit in just fine with us.

I forgot which draft guy said it, but one of them was talking about FSUs resurgence- and saying it was basically Verse/Fiske and the QB who put the team in their backs and carried them from a bad team to back being a premier top 5 team.
