Okay if I have not posted this before I have a serious man crush on Les Snead although I still believe most Americans can't tell you what State his Alma mater is in.

So I listened to this today while on the road, and it was really interesting when he started to talk about Gurley. Basically, they drafted Gurley because it scared the shit out of them that he could end up in the division. After he got hurt in the Auburn game (in which Snead attended), he was driving back thinking to himself, [paraphrasing], "Damn, now he's gonna drop down in the first round and end up in Seattle or Arizona." They weren't gonna watch that happen, so they drafted him themselves.

Yeah that was very interesting. So essentially they drafted defense in the first round. :)

Yeah. I honestly didn't know he was part of that 1996 Jaguars Organization either.

I listened to this while on the road this afternoon, as well. Good to hear the host did his homework on Les.

Interesting information on Vick as well.

Yeah. For those who haven't bothered, because it's over an hour long, put aside some time.
That's the first time I've heard Snead do an interview where he didn't stammer. He evidently loves talking freestyle with no canned responses.

Will try to make some time tomorrow or Sunday, really intrigued by all the comments.
