KSDK - It's been a busy time at Rams Park. Days after firing Steve Spagnuolo, Rams COO Kevin Demoff hosted Head Coaching candidate Jeff Fisher along with Quarterback Sam Bradford.

Whoever takes the Rams job will take over a team that hasn't had a winning year since 2003.

A final 2-and-14 campaign cost Spagnuolo his job. Although linebacker James Laurinaitis wasn't so sure the last game would be Spags' finale'.

Man that guy has one evil smirk. As calm as he is in the interview, you can see that mad man inside. I like a lot of our pieces and sure hope some of our young and injured come back to show what they can do.

He covers a lot of things:

He and others, C. Long and S. Bradford mentioned, will never get used to losing, they've talked about it and want much more.

He mentioned J. Murphy more than once - this has to make you feel good about how he must have progressed before his injury.

Says that his style of leadership is building guys up, talking to them privately, not grabbing facemask, yelling, etc.

Said it was hard to run defense with different players coming in and out, because of the complexity.

Made a point that beginning with week one the Rams had significant injuries compared to other teams, and that they adversely affected the team.

Heard that Fisher is a players coach.

Wants the new playbook and film in his hands, because he knows that the Mike needs to know it better than everyone else.

Looking forward to the two extra OTA weeks that you get with a new head coach per the CBA.

Good interview, happy that he is a Ram. Need to get him all the help he needs on defense. How good would be with a better d-line and a little LB help?
