James Laurinaitis, Kenny Britt upgraded on 'estimated' injury report

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- For the second week in a row, the St. Louis Rams had some changes on their Thursday injury report despite not practicing.
Last week, they reinserted running back Todd Gurley because of a league technicality. This week, they upgraded linebacker James Laurinaitis and wide receiver Kenny Britt from non-participants Wednesday to full participation and limited participation, respectively.
Because the Rams don't practice on Thursdays but are still required to provide an injury report, the updates are based on an estimation of how much a player would have participated had there been a practice.
So Laurinaitis, who did not practice Tuesday or Wednesday for non-injury related reasons (read: veteran's days off), theoretically would have participated in the full practice Thursday had there been one.
Britt, who missed the previous two days because of a sore shoulder, would have been available on a limited basis. The Rams don't seem overly concerned with either and the upgrades would seem to indicate positive progress toward Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
The rest of the hypothetical injury report remained the same with end Eugene Sims (knee), running back Chase Reynolds (knee) and safety Maurice Alexander (groin) listed as not participating.
