46 - Giants (9th offense / 25th defense) over Patriots (3rd / 15th). Both strong offensive teams. Neither team had good defense during the regular season but of note was that the Giants defense got real hot in the playoffs, giving up 14 ppg over the four games. They won the championship by giving up only 17 to that juggernaut Pats offense.
47 - Ravens (10th / 12th) over 49ers (11th / 2nd). Ravens were more a balanced team than an offensive team but this is a case of a defensive team losing.
48 - Seahawks (8th / 1st) over Broncos (1st / 22nd). Clear example of a defensive team manhandling an offensive opponent.
49 - Patriots (4th / 8th) over Seahawks (10th / 1st). Two top 10 offenses and defenses and a great Super Bowl. Just like Super Bowl 47, came down to last moment. Great and very close game.
