The opening of the Inglewood Palace is scheduled for 2019, which seems to be right around the corner. I wonder how the Rams players think of it? It's been a while since I have heard the stat, but the average career time for an NFL player is around 3 years if memory serves...With FA, trades, Cuts, the only stadium some players will ever experience (in LA) might be the ancient Los Angeles Coliseum. they will only know the temporary training facility at Cal Lutheran. Sure, super stars like Gurley and Wenzt (ha!) and Donald may be in the new stadium for quite a while, but the lesser players with short careers will probably look on Hard Knocks , filmed in temporary quarters as the backfrop of their NFL career.

Sure...I was just looking at the opportunity in LA from the players perspective, which may matter to future FA's.

Unless a future free agent signs a 1-2 year deal he will get to play in the new stadium.

That's true (unless it's a one year prove it deal), but the less than ideal working arrangements until playing in the best stadium in the world...they will play in one of the worst for a couple of years.....But hey, they will be in LA!

It would be interesting to venture a list of the guys that will be there in 2019. My guess, off the top of my head:
