(Rams Tailgate Show) -- NBC Sports is reporting that this year's most sought-after head-coaching candidate, Jeff Fisher, will announce where he'll spend 2012 next week. Fisher, who has interviewed with the Dolphins and Rams, told ESPN's Adam Schefter that he will make his decision next week.
Fisher confirmed that he's considering only the Rams and the Dolphins. It's not clear whether he has decided for sure to coach and is deciding only which of those two teams he wants to coach, or if he's also considering taking another year off from coaching.
By making it public that his decision is coming next week, Fisher is giving the owners of the Rams and Dolphins another week to engage in a bidding war for his services. A week from now, we'll know who won.
