I've seen a lot of sports people in St. Louis give back to the community. Albert Pujols, Yadier Molina, Adam Wainwright in baseball; David Backes, Vladimir Tarasenko, Jaden Schwartz in hockey.

It's what inspires me with my writing. Everything I earn from each book I sell is going to a different charity, so I can impact as many lives as I possibly can. And you can say that these athletes, these men of honor...they inspired me to give back as well, just by being good people.
