SEGMENT 1 - Show Open & Kevin Demoff: Just a little time for french fry talk, not enough talk about drapes, fans not happy with show or other media in regards to not asking the "tough" questions, Kevin Demoff jumps on the show, he was not suppose to be listening before his interview, no certainty for the Rams beyond 2015, not a good place for fans, not a good place for the Rams, reasons why Stan would buy the land in Southern California outside of stadium interests,

Kevin asks what action Rams have taken that would indicate that they do not want to be in STL, Stan Kroenke is being reserved at this time working behind the scenes, not a public relations story since it's laregely viewed as negative but how the Rams franchise wants to improve their business, next 13 months important to a Rams' stadium, (MENTION OF NEW JERSEYS!!!), reports on Governor Nixon not getting messages returned by Kroenke, Rams apparently would sit down and talk with the Governor if he wants, Doug wants to know what these Rams want, potential plans for the next 3-4 years, discussion of having an outdoor stadium in STL, Rams have been working with architects that have designed other recently new ones within the league, Kevin communicates with Stan Kroenke multiple times a day on various topics, Kevin's take on Michael Sam's announcement, no uniform update but some awesome news on fries at the Dome, reaction to the interview & no show prep.

And again, later in the day, on "The Drive Home" with Burwell & company (much shorter audio that I also did not listen to yet).

My initial take after listening to the first segment is maybe Kroenke is using his LA land purchase as leverage to get a new stadium built in St. Louis. The one thing that Kevin said was to get a new stadium built from concept to construction takes time, and IMO might take at least 4-5 years. I'm not sure how long its been since design to construction for the 9er's new stadium, and Minnesota is currently going through the process. I don't think Stan could get a new stadium designed and built in time to be playing in LA by 2016. Not to mention that a move has to be approved. I also think that once the team starts finding consistent success tickets to games will be hard to acquire. (IMO we're close) I understand the concern to put a bunch of money into a Tier One stadium only to have a struggling franchise playing in it. That's not a good investment for the city, the fans and the taxpayers. Although it would be closer for me flying from Montana to LA to see games, I don't see the RAMS leaving St. Louis. That's okay because the only time I was back in St. Louis (2000 Divisional Playoff game vs. the Vikqueens) I had a great time. I think there will be a new stadium built in St. Louis by 2018.
