I want to make sure I understand your question. We have 3 groups on the main page of the site;
Discussions
Member Photos
Chats
These sections are collapsible by the user, using the ^ symbol to the right of each section.
We can customize these sections and group things to fit the order/organization we’d like to see.

Thanks for not saying "What kind of a dumbass question is that!?"
I guess what I meant was, once you've clicked on 'Forums", and the three sub-directories are displayed uncollapsed...
Why aren't they collapsed (for convenience?), and
Why don't the "Member Photos" and "Chats" directories disappear when you click on "Discussions"?
(My format does not have a carat to the right.)
