Randy Moss better be glad Joe Buck didn’t have Twitter when he mooned the Lambeau Field crowd in 2005, as Buck has found someone else perpetrating what he considers a “disgusting act.”
Via Fox Sports Midwest, Buck went on a Twitter rant about Rams owner Stan Kroenke, calling him out for his attempt to take his team to Los Angeles.
That was just the salacious part of a larger (or as large as a string of 140-character messages can be) diatribe about the economic condition the lack of the NFL would leave for his hometown.
“My opinion: take the NFL out of Stl and our downtown has no impetus for change. Indy and Cincy have passed us by. It’s bigger than football,” he wrote.
Responding to a fan who asked if the town would be better off if Shad Khan had bought the Rams instead of the Jaguars, and Buck replied “100 percent better.”
Buck clearly has the passion of a local, and to his credit, has not declared himself hacked and deleted the messages. And there may not necessarily be anything wrong with them, unless he ends up calling a bunch of Rams games in Los Angeles in the future.
