Rams great and future Hall of Fame QB Kurt Warner to be broadcasting live from Rams Park on Sunday for NFL Network.

Not practicing today for Rams: S Christian Bryant, DL Ethan Westbrooks, FB Kadeem Jones, DE Sammy Brown, C Scott Wells, LB Johnny Millard.

Didn't really watch him today, but Donald looked almost unblockable in OTAs. Very quick. Uses hands well, especially for a rookie.

Crowd announced at 1,484 at Rams Park, which is a pretty small area for fans compared to most camp sites.

Also in the house, offensive line guru Jim Hanifan.

ESPN Sports Center will be going live from Rams Park tomorrow morning.

Ominous skies and pre-practice rain scared off some fans, so crowd down a little compared to opening day in 2013. But still a good turnout.

With William Hayes coming back from multiple offseason surgeries, DE Michael Sam worked a lot with the second-team defense Friday.

Sam Bradford looked a little rusty in first practice of training camp. but moved around well.

Good to see one of our industry greats, Rick Telander of the Chicago Sun-Times, at Rams camp today.

Rams add DE Kourtnei Brown, a first-year player from Clemson. He replaces WR Jamaine Sherman, who was waived/injured (hamstring).

Assuming it's just clean up work on his knee from the MCL sprain last year.
Yeah i remember hearing something like that, but multiple surgeries?
I'll be keeping my eyes and ears on Willy Hayes. He's our best depth guy on the DLine. It's good that M.Sam is getting valuable reps but still...i hope WH gets back into the mix sooner rather than later.

Granted it was during the all rookie line drills but this kid Kourtnei Brown has some moves and some talent.....reminded me of Rivers from last year

Yeah, I just red something about that today as well. I had no idea.

Tweets about Training camp observations and he lists an OTA observation for Donald....should have just left that one out, Jim.

Donald will either be a rookie wunderkind because of Quinn, or he will be stymied by week 3 as every team logs the tape...Either way the Rams are in pretty good shape !!

A320driver with this brain twister:

I'm having trouble understanding this. Are you saying that there is something you can see in the tape on him that would allow a team to negate his talents and if you're right about that, how is that a good thing?

Every week advance scouts cover the next weeks opponent ..they break down the tape, and come up with a game plan to negate the others strengths. Quinner will be getting a lot of double team TE/ RB helping the OTs etc. If AD is the guy we think he is his SAC tally should start to rise quickly..then he might start getting attention, and now teams are forced to go man on man protections..someone on our defense gets freed up, and this turns defending against the Rams pass rush a huge conundrum for opposing OC's
This years front seven with the addition of AD could be a freaking nightmare for other teams QB's !
It's all good Bro;)

lol that's exactly what I was about to reply. Jim Thomas is so dull, so boring. @CoachO and @jimitroutboy are so much more enthusiastic. I really wish a fanatic could take over and infuse some life into the beat writer's gig. How many would love to have that as a career? I sure as hell would. And here's Jim Thomas: Weather scared off some fans, still good turnout. I didn't watch Donald, but he looked unblockable.

WHAT?!

A big reason he has been around so long! Coaches trust him and love that he will never torpedo any inside information he might get while walking the halls in earth city complex ...
You get all the vanilla you can stomach topped with a teaser now and then...you just have to read between the lines ;)

Yeah @jimiramsboy is an absolute must follow for training camp. Love what we get from @CoachO as well.

The statement "Didn't watch him, but Donald looked unblockable" is pretty humorous.

He was saying he didn't watch him yesterday, but had watched him in OTAs and he looked unblockable.
