After tonight's shit show, I'd say it's time to cut ties with Fisher and move on. With that being said I really think, and I can't believe I'm typing this... We need to go after Jim Harbaugh hard.

This is the perfect spot for him to come back to the NFL. Come backs to CA, gets a chance to exact his revenge by playing the niners twice a year. Not to mention what he would do for Goff. If he can make Colin freaking Kaepernick look like an elite player, imagine what he could make Goff look like.

I know this isn't gonna be a very popular idea on this board, but this guy isn't stuck in the 90's and have the saying 'Can't teach an old dog new tricks' sum up his ability to be a Head Coach.

I don't see him however wanting to leave Michigan until he's won a national title and not sure he leaves even then.

I don't know why he would take it. He's building a great program and will have job security while being able to make all the decisions at Michigan. I would go for his successor at Stanford, David Shaw.

He's an a hole. But an exceptional ahole. Would love that kind of mentality coaching this team.

Harbaugh tried the NFL thing, to much business not enough football. In college he can pick his recruites. Run his system. Be the freaking man with a blind following. And still get paid like an NFL coach. (saban). I wish but not possible

Stanley Kroenke is richer than all the colleges in Michigan combined. Surely they could get a deal going. Harbaugh could develop a top rank tier team.

Harbaugh isn't going to leave a place where he gets the best players every offseason, has full power over the program, has major long term job security, and gets paid great money to join a team with big time talent flaws, limited picks to add talent, and less job security. Not happening.

David Shaw is my second choice... A pretty close second behind Jim Bob Cooter.

Unfortunately, he will never leave Michigan unless he's fired. Remember guys, he had a couple good years with SF, but then things went to sh*t. He lost his players and control of the team. He's a no nonsense guy which doesn't go over well with professional players. He's better suited coaching 19-23 year old players. His style of coaching, albeit is what this team needs, will only work for some time before player's get tired of it. Just my two cents.

It's not going to happen Gentlemen unless Michigan wins a national championship this year, Harbaugh won't leave his alma mater until he secures a National Championship.
