nfl_g_cook_kh_800.jpg

I hope he doesn't feel he has any reason to "PUSH" any of our QB's this year!!

Next up @ #89 LB Bob Long ( who also wore #84)
Bob_Long 84&89.jpg
( This Football card was produced by The Rams themselves!) Couldn't find a photo of him in his 89 jersey!!

Next @ TE #89 Ron Miller

Ron came out as a QB but the Rams converted him.

Dryer and Youngblood were a helluva pass rushing duo back them. If Cromwell holds onto that INT when he step in front a Bradshaw pass the Rams woulda been champs back then. I really though we were gonna win that game until those two bombs where the defenders collided into each other.

Cook should be way better than he is. I know he hasn't had great QB play, but he is too big, strong, fast, and athletic to be as average as he has been throughout his career.

He'll get there. A season with a QB who can throw in stride... Oh yeah!

Bradford threw in stride and Cook was still hit or miss. He has games where he dominates, then he had games where he is nonexistent.

I thought this ^ thread stands up pretty well since it's original post, but it does need a little tweaking, with something for the stats lovers, and a little new commentary!:D
Starting with:
E/WR - Bob Carey - 1952 & 1954 & '56
Bob_Carey1.jpg

In the Old Days WR's where called "Ends" and don't ask me why he played every other year, IDK!
he played in 21 games and 1 playoff game. he had 46 rec. for 643 yards/ 14.1 aver./ and 2 TD's.

NEXT UP:
LB - Bob Long - 1955 & 1960-61
Bob_Long 84&89-1.jpg
He played in 23 games/ had 2 Int's/2 FR's/ and 1 Safety!

NEXT UP:
DE - Glen Holtzman - 1955-1958
Glenn_Holtzman 1.jpg

He played in 48 games/ and had 3 FR's/and 1 safety. ( he also wore Jersey #79besides #90!)

NEXT UP:
E/WR - Ron Miller - 1956
Ron Miller 1.jpg

Ron only played the one year for us/ 7 games/11 Rec./ 129 Yards/an 11.7 aver.

NEXT UP:
"Hunter!" Oops  I mean, DE - Fred Dryer - 1972-1981
Fred DRYER 2.jpg

In his 10 seasons with the Rams, this 1 time Pro Bowler, Played in 134 games/ Had 1 Int. for 20 yards and a TD/ 14 FR's / and 2 Safeties in one game, which is still an NFL record! As far as Sacks I can only find 4, which he got during his 14 Post season games. I'm thinking as fast as he was, he had to have had more, maybe they were not counting them all of those years!?!

NEXT UP:
KR/WR - Ron Brown - 1984-1991
Ron Brown1.jpg

In Brown 7 seasons he played in 84 games/ he had 98 Rec. for 1791 Yards/ a 18.3 aver./ 13 TD's. He also rushed 21 times for 127 Yards. And he played in 7 post season games where he totaled 9 Rec. for 107 Yds. He was a Pro Bowler in 1985!

NEXT UP:
WR - Dane Looker - 2002-2008
dane_looker_1.jpg

In his 7 seasons Looker Played in 91 games and out of 191 Targets he had 112 Rec. for 1224 Yards/a 10.9 aver./ and 5 TD's. he also played in 3 playoff games and had 5 Rec. for 69 Yards.

NEXT UP:
TE - Jared Cook - 2013-2015
jared-cook1.jpg

What can I say! .. In his, Not so illustrious, 3 seasons with the Team he played in 48 games/had "254 Targets and 142 Rec." ( part of the reason he's gone!) for 1786 Yards/ and 8 TD's. What can I say? " He suffered from Dropsey's"

NEXT UP: We have a New TE this year wearing #89 will be Higbee, But I don't have any photos of him yet, so he just gets an Honorable mention!
That's it for me! Did I spark any Memories? Anyone got any Videos? Thoughts/Comments?

Sorry. Not to correct you. But not current. Isn't Higbee our new 89?

This one is Cooked.
Read my most current comment you'll see I did! The comment your referring to was made Last year when I posted this thread Originally. (y);):D
