Very interesting, he missed time twice at the end of seasons that his team THEN knew were LOST, how long did he play with those injuries? More ,would someone else have played at all? and DID his production suffer because he would go because they didn't HAVE a suitable replacement?

Would Saffold have played with the same injuries Long had ?

I forget which game it was... but Saffold got hurt multiple times (I think his back) and came back in.

I got to say; dude earned my respect from that. He was clearly in pain on the sidelines.
