My real name is Leroy L. Denson, and my monniker across the internet has been LoyalRam across several platforms. I am going legit because I am trying to be known by my pen name (real name) with stories I am attempting to publish. It won't matter that much if I fail at what I am trying to do, but I aim at at higher things. Twitter and LinkIn will be revealed by my real name, and therefore I will sink or swim by my real name. I want to get a verified blue check mark with twitter, but we'll see if that happens.

Let us know when you publish. I'll definitely buy a copy.
Very kind. I am attempting to publish historical fiction with a flavor of magical realism. Hopefully I don't SUCK!

I read a lot of fantasy and for a few years have been on an urban fantasy kick. So what you're describing isn't too far off. You could have said you were writing a baking show/BDSM romance mash up between a pelican and an anthropomorphic toaster; I'd buy it to be supportive. Luckily, what you're doing might actually be good.

I actually looked a little like him when I was younger, but no where near as big! I need to post a real photo of myself...

Oh the irony, on legal documents you’ll need your signature in BLUE ink

Best of luck!

Best of luck, Leroy
Let me know if you ever need any help. I am always down to assist a fellow Ram brother.
I have two books with a killer publisher that both have solid distribution deals. Both will be releasd in 2020.
To get to where I am today was no easy task but I will certainly give you whatever pointers you’d like from my personal experiences.
I also have self-published with some success, my $8 book now sells on Amazon for $65. Sometimes it shows up at $160. Which makes me laugh cause I still have a box of them in storage, hahahahha. Anyway - there are some things you can do to help further your career - but in the end the key is finishing your book. The best way to ensure success is to learn to edit and edit and edit and then more editing. Never be afraid to cut and rewrite. Sometimes new authors fall in love with their work to their detriment - mostly because of the amount of time they’ve spent crafting scenes. So when an editor red marks entire pages it can hurt at first. But developing a thick skin and learning to cut and rewrite is the best thing I have ever learned to do.
PM me if you are ever need any insight from my end. Again, great to hear and the best of luck brother!!!

I don't and never have done the Facebook/Twitter thing, perhaps someone can inform me of what a verified blue check mark with twitter means exactly.

And good luck to you Loyal, ... er Leroy. That's gonna take some getting used to after all these years ...

I know. I have thought about this for years and have not used my real name for those reasons. It might be a mistake, but I hold my reputation in my own hands.

Best of luck to you sir! We should follow our passions because not doing so only results in death to our souls. I am sure you have much to share with the world!

As a rookie screenwriter/author myself, I think you are going to be fine if writing is something you really love to do!

I agree with Dieter the Brock about the work involved. It’s the passion for the art that gets you through. It’s wonderful he has offered to help you!!

My best to you Leroy, my friend. May you accomplish all that you desire, and be able to fend off all the women. (Well, most of ‘em)
