That said I hope he has gotten his life back together from the alcoholic issues he had. He literally lost everything because of it.

I'm trying not to be irrationally excited about my Rams this year... but they seem to be as complete as any team in the NFC, outside of Tampa.
The 9ers defensive backfield could be an absolute liability.. I think Seahawks will be up and down again and lack the commitment to a new offense to make a difference. Russ likes to freelance too much, imo.
And the Cards? They're a mess, it sounds like.
The Rams return their Oline with a new Center who has been in the system for 3 seasons and has gained strength and size.
A ton of weapons.. and a significant upgrade to the QB.
Defense lost key contributors.. but have developed some key depth to replace some and drafted to replace others. The D will most likely have a step back, but I don't expect it to be significan.
Special teams is one place we could see a significant upgrade.
