Atlanta and Minnesota.

I think we got our rooting interests locked in against the Cardinals and Seahawks, but we need to also watch the wild card race.

With Green Bay and Carolina off to undefeated starts... And... someone has to take the filthy NFC East... That leaves Atlanta and Minnesota as targets 1 and 2.

Atlanta is 5-1, but they have a little shaky ground around them, IMO.

Minnesota is 4-2 and we have a shot at them in a few weeks. They appear good enough to hang around the race, but not a dominating team at this point.

THIS WILL BE OUR PLAYOFFS OR NOT GAME. (vikings) We need to find an invisible passing game by faking the ball to Gurley and we have to get ready for next week like it is our SUPER BOWL. Especially with throwback uniforms. I remember the last throwback jersey game against the Whiners on Primetime at home. It was Very Ugly. Time to start changing what has been the 2 decade norm. Now or Never!!!:yess:

Minny hasn't beaten anyone so we can take them off the list.

Another challenger or two will rise up though, of course. And we can make voodoo dolls of them. That's socially acceptable right?

ahhh..who remembers when the Rams and Falcons were in the same division, along with New Orleans and San Fran

Atlanta was the perennial cellar dweller back then

For me, rooting for against a team is fun, even though obviously it has absolutely no impact on the outcome...Still, it makes me feel like I have some say in it...LOL !!!

That goes back a while...It was certainly not the power division that's been for the past few years...I guess it isn't really this year, but I really feel like the Albatross will play better and only the Whiners will end up at the bottom of the food chain...The Whiners might not win 4 games this year...

Uh, first and foremost, we have to root against the Cheatriots, who are well on their way to another chance at an undefeated season.

NY Jets came thisclose to wiping that smug look off their cheating faces yesterday, and failed, drat the luck.

Who they've played/beaten doesnt really matter when it comes to them being in the wildcard race. This isnt college fooball, the playoff spots arent voted on. Regardless how you feel about their talent level they have 4 wins and play the bears twice yet, which is almost 2 sure wins. So thats 6 wins right there, and with 9-10 wins usually enough for playoffs, they would only need 3 or 4 out of they other 8. Having to win less than .500 to just be in playoff contention is a nice place to be at if you ask me

Hate to say it, but it will take an act of God to defeat the Patriots this year.
But we are talking playoffs for the NFC so the Pats just dont matter until we see them in February !!

This is going to be a tough year to make the playoffs at this point. The Rams really could have used that Washington game. That loss may be the one loss that matters most. The Seahawks have it easy from here on out. The Rams cannot slip up again..........at all.

And the Panthers which made the least sense EVER.

Saints, Falcons and Panthers in the NFC WEST..........always seemed odd..........and it lasted for a few years too!

That's right, I forgot the Panthers were in the NFC W when they first joined the league.

Good catch
